Civic Works AmeriCorps Members worked hard to build an energy efficient “Tiny House,” that made it’s debut in Baltimore City in October of 2015. The Tiny House serves as the Baltimore Energy Challenge’s Mobile Energy Education Center. This tiny home is used to provide a mobile classroom to the community that displays over a dozen energy-efficient materials and technologies. Within the 200 square feet of this tiny home are all of the amenities of an average home. It is also a model of the potential for affordable housing in Baltimore. The Mobile Energy Education is available for tours and learning about ways residents can save energy and be more sustainable in their own homes. If you are interested in having the Mobile Energy Education Center to come to your event, call 443-869-2614 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
